Our online introductory sessions including online meditation instruction are available most Mondays at 6.30pm and normally last about an hour.
These online introductory sessions include meditation instruction given by an experienced practitioner in the Zen lineage of which we are a part. In the spirit of Buddhism there is no charge for meditation instruction.

The Group is currently meeting weekly, online. We are keeping under review when the Group’s weekly meetings at the Friends Meeting House on Mondays 7.30pm – 9.30pm will resume.
Can anybody sit in the meditation positions you use?
There is a range of postures to suit people of all ages and backgrounds. Most people use either a meditation bench or a chair; others use a meditation cushion. What is important is that your body is well-balanced and stable so that you can sit in an alert and relaxed way. For comfort we recommend loose-fitting clothing.
I just want to meditate. Do only Buddhists come to the group ?
You do not need to be a Buddhist to come to the group. Many people come simply wanting to learn to meditate. It is common for people from other religious backgrounds or no commitment to any faith to attend a group like ours. As long as you feel comfortable with the style of our meetings you are very welcome to come.
