Online introductory meditation instruction is available most Mondays at 6.30pm and takes about 45 minutes. It is given by an experienced practitioner in the Zen lineage to which we belong. In the spirit of Buddhism it is free of charge.

Can anybody sit in the meditation positions you use?
There is a range of postures to suit people of all ages and backgrounds. Most people use a meditation bench or a chair; others use a meditation cushion. What is important is that your body is well-balanced and stable so that you can sit in an alert and relaxed way. For comfort we recommend loose-fitting clothing.
I just want to meditate. Do only Buddhists come to the group ?
You do not need to be a Buddhist to come to the group. Many people come simply wishing to learn to meditate. It is common for people from other religious backgrounds or no commitment to any faith to attend a group like ours. As long as you feel comfortable at the meetings you are very welcome to come.
